1990 – 2000

Founded Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain College, Bengaluru
Initiated the Cataract-Free Kanakapura Project
Established Jain International Residential School (300+ acre campus)
Undertook a nation-building initiative with the opportunity school Jain Vidyaniketan at Kanakapura, Karnataka
Established the Human Networking Academy (HNA) to strengthen the capabilities of individuals and organisations through professional training, research and consultancy

2001 – 2005

Established MATS Institute of Management & Entrepreneurship
Initiated the Mega Eye Camp with Project Drishti – 2,050 patients regained their vision
Founded the Jain Academy for Sporting Excellence, India’s first dedicated sports school
Established the Chenraj Roychand Center for Entrepreneurship
Established Jain Heritage School, a day-boarding school with an extended day-care centre, in Hebbal, Bengaluru
Launched Radio Active 90.4 MHz

2005 – 2010

Set up ARKA Eduserve Pvt. Ltd.
Established Jain (Deemed-to-be University) and commenced operations
Set up six dedicated research centres
Signed an MoU with TÜV Rheinland to offer safety and energy programmes
Signed an MoU with UL – USA to establish fire-safety laboratories

2011 – 2015

2A/S Coy 7 KAR Battalion NCC boys receive the Best Institution Award
Jain (Deemed-to-be University) receives sanction from DRDO-DST for the development of a low-cost, reusable MICAV
Team Jatayu wins the SAE Aero Design Competition in California
Dr. Chenraj Roychand receives the prestigious Kempegowda Award from the Government of Karnataka for his contribution to education
Team Jatayu wins further accolades at the SAE Aero Design Competition 2013, held in Van Nuys, California
Southern Champs – Jain (Deemed-to-be University), Bengaluru clinches the inaugural Toyota University Championship

2015 – 2017

Jain (Deemed-to-be University) awarded ISO 9001:2008 certification by TÜV Rheinland
Athletes Gagan Ullalmath & Sharath Gayakwad represent India at the London Olympics & Paralympics
Unveiled the My Country Run movement, championing sport as a career and fitness as a way of life
Jain University Incubation Center (JUIC), a joint initiative with DST, Govt. of India and ALSTOM France, is established to promote technology-based enterprises using new tools
Jain International Residential School ranks No. 1 in India among top boarding schools by Education Today

2018 – Present

University Grants Commission awards Graded Autonomy Status to Jain (Deemed-to-be University)
Established ARKA Jain University, Jharkhand
Launched Jain Online, the group’s digital learning platform
Jain Heritage School reimagined as an innovative learning environment for a new generation of learners
